The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office secured maximum jail sentences for two men in domestic violence cases last week. Both men were ordered to serve two and a half years at the Berkshire County House of Correction following guilty pleas.
Tyler Sumner, 25, of Adams was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on a single count of murder on Monday. He is being held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without bail.
The Berkshire Domestic and Sexual Violence Task Force and the Elizabeth Freeman Center are partnering with area businesses and nonprofits on a community book read, culminating with the author speaking at the Colonial Theater in February.
