What you need
To check the status of a license you'll need:
- The license number of the individual or business license you would like to check
- If you don't have the license number of the license you would like to check, you can also enter:
- The first and last name of the licensee
- The type of license held by the licensee
- The name or address of the business associated with the license
How to check
The move to our new licensing system, eLIPSE, has begun for the following boards:
- Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Supply Facilities
- Board of Registration of Massage Therapy
- Board of Examiners of Sheet Metal Workers
All licensing functions for these boards are now disabled in ePLACE. The new eLIPSE system is expected to be available on Monday, May 18th at 8am.
For the previously migrated boards below, licensing functions in the eLIPSE platform will be disabled until Monday, May 18th at 8am.
- Board of Public Accountancy
- Board of Registration in Embalming and Funeral Directing
- Board of Registration of Architects
- Board of Registration of Landscape Architects
- Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters
- Board of Registration of Real Estate Appraisers
- Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons
Note: All other users should continue using ePLACE until further notice.
