The Juvenile Justice Policy and Data (JJPAD) Board brings together representatives of stakeholders across the juvenile justice system to evaluate current policies and procedures and make recommendations designed to:
- Improve public safety and promote public welfare
- Promote the best interests of youth under the care and supervision of the juvenile justice system
- Improve transparency and accountability of state-funded services for youth involved with the juvenile justice system
- Promote efficient sharing of information to improve collection and reporting of performance data
The JJPAD Board has two subcommittees: Data and Community-Based Interventions. The Childhood Trauma Task Force operates under the umbrella of the JJPAD Board and functions as a third subcommittee.
