Route 2 Concord Rotary improvements

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is developing a design to improve safety and reduce congestion at the Concord Rotary (Route 2/2A/119).

The proposed project will replace the existing Concord Rotary with a highway interchange. MassDOT is currently in the process of analyzing four design concepts. The project also includes improvements to the Elm Street intersections east of the rotary and replacing the Route 2 bridge over the Assabet River.
