2020 Municipal Firefighter Examination Update

The Entry-Level Physical Ability Test (ELPAT) will begin in August, 2020!

Key Dates for the Firefighter Examination

Application Opening: October 28, 2019
Application Deadline: February 4, 2020*
Notices to Appear for ELPAT: Sent two weeks prior to your scheduled date and time

Notices to Appear for Written Test: Two weeks prior to your scheduled examination date
Written Test Date: Please see your Notice to Appear
Score Release Date: February 9, 2021
Employment/Experience (E/E) Last Day to Appeal: February 26, 2021
Eligible List Establishment Date: March 15, 2021

ELPAT Test Location: 571A Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749
Written Test Location: Various Sites across the state
Examination Fee: $200*

* There is an additional $50 late fee for applications received after February 4, 2020. Applications will not be accepted after February 18, 2020.
