Are you a Massachusetts-licensed veterinarian interested in becoming a spay/neuter provider? Please read a letter about the MAF Voucher Program to Veterinarians here. The Massachusetts Animal Fund is actively seeking clinics, hospitals, shelters, and individual providers to participate in the Spay/Neuter Voucher Program to help the state’s most vulnerable animals. To view our Mass Animal Fund Provider Join Brochure. Our reimbursement rates increase 07/01/2023 so now is a great time to join the Program!

To join our program, we require the following:

Note: Clinics/shelters/hospitals wishing to participate should submit a resume and license copy for each veterinarian who will be providing spay/neuter surgery. A total of three references should be submitted - there is no need to submit individual references for each veterinarian. All resumes and licenses, along with references, should be submitted in one package, either via email or hard copy. In this instance, reimbursements will be made to the clinic/shelter/hospital rather than to an individual provider.

Completed application packages may be sent via mail or email to:

Sheri Gustafson
Department of Agricultural Resources
100 Cambridge Street, 9th Floor
Boston, Massachusetts 02114
sheri.gustafson@state.ma.us

Your application will be reviewed upon receipt. If your application is complete you will be sent a contract within 7-10 business days to become a vendor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, allowing you to be reimbursed for your services. Once your signed contractual documents are received in hard copy, you will be contacted by our team to get you started with the program.

Are you a Municipality that is interested in signing up to get spay/neuter funding? Municipalities who sign up in the program become contracted partners with Mass Animal Fund. This allows the Fund to be able to reimburse the municipality directly for spay/neuter/vaccination costs for cats and dogs in ACO care.
