The Board of Boiler Rules is a five-member board that promulgates regulations on boilers and pressure vessels (522 CMR) for Massachusetts. The statutory authority for the board is M.G.L. C. 22 § 10. As of April 2017, administration of the Board of Boiler Rules has been moved to the Department of Fire Services in Stow. Accordingly the Regulations promulgated by the Board, 522 CMR, have been updated to reflect changes associated with this move.
