ESI Demonstration Program Advancing Commonwealth Energy Storage (ESI ACES)

Joint program from Mass DOER and Mass Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) for proposals for ESI Demonstration Projects

Program Description

DOER and MassCEC had a request for proposals for energy storage demonstration projects over a range of application scales – utility, distribution system and behind the meter (BTM) – in Massachusetts. Successful applicants proposed projects that addressed the unique needs and barriers to storage deployment in Massachusetts. These projects will also help to grow the state's energy storage economy and contribute to Massachusetts' continued clean energy innovation leadership.

Grant recipients were announced on 12/07/17.
