Visiting the Division
The Division of Insurance reception area is located on the Eighth floor, Suite 810, of 1000 Washington Street.
Access to the building requires a photo ID. Driving Directions For GPS devices, the best address to input is 321 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA. Visitor parking is available at 1000 Washington Street by entering the attached garage from 321 Harrison Avenue. From Points North : Take I-93 south toward Boston Take exit 23 to merge onto Purchase Street 0.3 mi Turn right at Harrison Avenue 0.1 mi From Points West : Take I-90 (Mass Pike) east toward Boston Follow signs for Copley Square From Points South : Take I-93 north toward Boston Via Public Transportation 1000 Washington Street is accessible by the Orange Line (Tufts Medical Center stop) and the Silver Line (SL-4 or SL-5, Herald Street stop). The distance from the Downtown Crossing stop of the Red Line is slightly longer. Commuter rail users from either North or South Station should connect with the Orange (North Station) or Red (South Station) lines and follow the previous directions.
