Cross-Regional Business Recruitment
Three regions: Metro South/West, Bristol, and New Bedford worked together to develop a process to outreach, screen, refer, and track candidates to the Plainridge Casino beginning one year prior to their opening. At the time of opening Plainridge had hired 256 individuals from the MassHire Career Centers out of their 450 planned hires. Through the use of a variety of assessment tools, including the Key Train Pre-test, and TORQ, participants were screened and referred, as appropriate. Attached is a flow chart of the process that was used at all of the centers involved.
