Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program resources for providers

The Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (MBCCP) sponsors professional development opportunities for clinical providers around cancer screening guidelines and care.

Webinars and learning opportunities

The Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and the Massachusetts Medical Society have produced a CME-granting webinar on shared decision making for prostate, lung, and breast cancer screening. The breast cancer section reviews the current clinical guidelines for screening individuals younger than 50 with mammography, criteria for identifying young individuals at high risk for breast cancer, and best practices for engaging patients in a robust shared decision-making process. This webinar is available for providers free of charge on the Massachusetts Medical Society website.
