Somerville – Route 28 & Route 38 signal and intersection improvements

This project will deliver a safer and more efficient intersection at Route 28 (Fellsway/McGrath Highway) and Route 38 (Mystic Avenue) in Somerville.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is delivering vital upgrades to Route 28 and Route 38 in Somerville to enhance safety, modernize traffic signals, and improve mobility for all users—drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders.
