Procedural order
The Business Litigation Session will permit counsel to attend certain proceedings by telephone, on request. Counsel who seek to do so shall:
- make the request in advance by telephone or brief letter to the session clerk; and
- make all necessary arrangements so that all telephone participants are connected through the telephone in the courtroom at the time scheduled for the proceeding.
Proceedings that may be appropriate for telephone participation in particular cases are Rule 16 conferences, status conferences, and hearings on preliminary matters of a non-dispositive nature scheduled on short notice.
