Child Support Services Division  

We provide services to parents who pay child support and parents and caretakers who receive child support. Child support is a way for parents to share the financial responsibility for their child, even when they do not live together. Either parent or the child’s caretaker can apply for our services to establish parentage or to get, enforce, or change a child support order.

Civil Service Commission  

The Civil Service Commission is an independent, neutral appellate tribunal and investigative entity. We hear and decide appeals filed by certain state and municipal employees and candidates for positions covered by the civil service law, including discipline, layoff, bypass, examination and classification appeals, in addition to conducting investigations related to alleged violations of the civil service law.

Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC)  

A public-private community development financial institution that provides project financing and technical expertise for community-based and other nonprofit organizations engaged in effective community development in Massachusetts.

Cybersecurity and Enterprise Risk Management  

As technology becomes ever-more integrated into the business of state government and the delivery of constituent services, mature enterprise information security and risk management programs are essential in protecting citizen data, ensuring the availability of the Commonwealth’s networks and systems, and maintaining the continuity of government operations.

Department of Conservation & Recreation  

DCR manages state parks and oversees more than 450,000 acres throughout Massachusetts. It protects, promotes, and enhances the state’s natural, cultural, and recreational resources. The health and happiness of people across Massachusetts depends on the accessibility and quality of our natural resources, recreational facilities, and great historic landscapes. DCR continues to improve the vital connection between people and the environment.

Department of Criminal Justice Information Services  

The Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (DCJIS) manages and administers the Commonwealth’s law enforcement information and criminal records systems, the Firearms Records Bureau (FRB), and the post-conviction victim notification program.
