The Board of Elevator Examiners licenses elevator mechanics who install, maintain, repair, and remove elevators, escalators, lifts, moving walks, and other related equipment. The board meets monthly to review applications for the elevator mechanics exams held throughout the year.

The Board of Elevator Regulations oversees the construction, installation, alteration, and operation of elevators and related devices. This includes moving stairways, lifts, conveyors, wheelchair lifts, and similar equipment. All elevator constructors and operators must be licensed by the Board.

We set rules and policies for dental practice, monitor licensees for compliance, and investigate complaints against licensed dental professionals.

The Board of Registration of Embalming and Funeral Directing oversees the registration of these professionals and their apprentices and assistants. The Board also inspects the facilities of registered embalmers and funeral directors.

The Board of Registration in Medicine is responsible for licensing, regulation, and discipline of Massachusetts physicians and acupuncturists.

Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (Board) protects the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Commonwealth through the fair and consistent application of the statutes and regulations that govern nursing practice and nursing education.

The Board of Registration of Optometrists licenses optometrists. It establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensed optometrists.
