Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) regional offices directly support coastal communities.
The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Managements (CZM) maintains five regional offices: North Shore, Boston Harbor, South Shore, Cape Cod and Islands, and South Coastal. CZM regional coordinators serve as liaisons between federal and state programs and coastal cities and towns, coordinate regional initiatives, provide technical assistance, lead CZM’s state environmental and federal consistency review efforts for projects within their regions, and oversee the project management teams for the Coastal Resilience Grants and Coastal Habitat and Water Quality Grants in their communities.
