The Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL), through its boards and offices, licenses and regulates more than 500,000 individuals, businesses, and schools to engage in over 100 trades and professions in Massachusetts.

Check an Occupational Board License

Multiple boards have moved to the eLIPSE platform. For the boards listed below, you must use the eLIPSE platform. Licensing transactions for these boards are no longer available in our ePlace portal. 

For instructions on managing your licenses and permits in the eLIPSE platform, view the DOL eLIPSE How-to-Guides page. 

All other applicants listed under ePlace must complete all licensing transactions on the Board’s ePlace portal.
