Establishing a Delayed Record of Birth or Marriage

You can establish a delayed record of marriage or birth if an event is not recorded within 1 year.

The RVRS can help you establish a delayed record of marriage or birth. A delayed record is required for marriages or births that are not registered with a city or town clerk more than 365 days (1 year) from the date of the event.
