Tweens and teens ages 10-14, are invited to meet at the Leominster Public Library.  Explore the trees through "tree cookies" – cross-sections that reveal rings and discover how scientists use these natural time capsules like pages in a book. We'll uncover a tree's age and observe the unique history of its growth patterns. Discover how trees actively compete for vital resources of light, water, and nutrients. Design your own tree cookie pendant to keep. 

Registration is required.
