Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 22, Rt 140, West Boylston. GPS address 167 Temple St, West Boylston. About 0.5 miles round trip.
Can you identify trees in winter? The Wachusett Reservoir is surrounded by a diverse forest that protects the drinking water. Take this opportunity to get outdoors, become a nature detective, and match up buds and bark. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy hiking shoes. About 1/2 mile slow-paced walk. All ages welcome on this family-friendly hike.
Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.
