Public Meeting Notice  DCR Playground Designs: Constitution Beach (East Boston) Public Information Meeting 12/19/2023

In this virtual public information meeting, the project team will share the renovation design for the existing Constitution Beach Playground.  The current playground is deck structures in sand with PIP Rubber pathways to the equipment.  The new playground design is ground level based and has all PIP Rubber surfacing.  The site furnishings and ADA parking are also updated.  Special thought has been put in to providing as many different types as possible of play linked together in a coastal nature theme.  In doing this, the goal is to provide a wide range of fun activities so all children that come to visit the park find something they will enjoy. 

The public will be invited to ask questions and provide feedback on the presentation,using the Q&A functionality that will be available through the virtual participation platform.  After the meeting,the presentation will be available for viewing at /https://www.mass.gov/dcr/past-public-meetings.
