Fees:
$20/Participant. Cost flexible based on need. One guest of a program participant with a disability can attend at no charge.
Join Waypoint Adventures for an accessible hike in Middlesex Fells Reservation. A small group hike with one of our staff is the perfect way to try an activity for the first time or just get out into nature and experience the serenity of the trail, river, or lake. It's also a great opportunity to meet new friends and socialize. You’ll benefit from our selection of adaptive equipment, receive instruction to meet any learning style, and be encouraged to reach your individual goals. Adaptations and staff support are available. Each hiking session lasts for two hours.
This program is for people with disabilities and their family and friends.
You will need for Dec. 2 Accessible hiking at Middlesex Fells Reservation
You will need to pre-register online with Waypoint Adventure. You will also need to meet our essential eligibility criteria for hiking and fill out a release form. Please bring your own food and drink and come prepared for the weather.
What to bring:
- Small back pack or bag to carry your things
- Clothes to cover all skin (long pants/socks for tick protection)
- Snack for the trail
- Water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, glasses, lotion)
- Bug lotion
- Lace-up sneakers or hiking boots
