Public Meeting Notice  Maffa Way/Mystic Ave. Bridge replacements project - January 2024 meeting

What is happening?

An in-person Public Information Meeting is scheduled for January 31 at 6:00 PM to present a project overview prior to the commencement of construction activities. The meeting will feature a presentation delivered by project team members after which attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.

How will this affect you?

The Maffa Way/Mystic Avenue Bridge Superstructure Replacements Project will replace two deteriorated bridge superstructures that carry vehicles and pedestrians over the MBTA's Orange Line and Commuter Rail in Boston and Somerville. This construction project will also improve bicycle, pedestrian, and transit facilities.

To ensure its meetings are accessible, MassDOT reasonably provides: translation, interpretation, modifications, accommodations, alternative formats, and auxiliary aids and services. To request such services, please contact MassDOT’s Chief Diversity and Civil Rights Officer at 857-368-8580 or MassDOT.CivilRights@dot.state.ma.us.  For adequate time to process such request, please make them as early as possible, ideally 10-15 days prior to the event.
