Overview:

The Rehabilitation Council (RC) of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB) is seeking public comment and feedback on the agency’s required updates to the Vocational Rehabilitation Services Portion of the Massachusetts WIOA Combined State Plan for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2024. The MCB updates will describe RC and MCB progress on goals for vocational rehabilitation (VR) programs that were jointly developed in 2020 and will make recommendations for future vocational rehabilitation services implementation. These updates, when approved by the Rehabilitation Services Administration, will become part of the current state plan which will remain in effect through June 30, 2024.

The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 1 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM via Zoom. Written comments will also be accepted until Monday, December 6, 2021.
