Overview

Under the provisions of G.L.c. 30A, ss. 10-11 and the Standard Judiciary Rules of Practice and Procedure, 801 CMR 1.02-1.03, the Police Standards Subcommittee of the Municipal Police Training Committee will conduct Open Hearings on Wednesday, April 29, 2026,to be held in-person, starting at 10 am at 42 Thomas Patten Drive, Randolph, MA, with the first beginning at or about that time, and the next beginning when the one before has concluded, until all scheduled hearings have been completed.The Standards Subcommittee will hear the appeals of former Student Officer Baltazar Gonzalez from his dismissal from the Springfield Police Academy and former instructors Timothy Van Nostrand and Kyle Kidger from the revocation of their MPTC instructor certification(s).

Those attending virtually will not be able to comment or interact during this meeting.
