New RFQ Templates for IT Software and Services Statewide Contracts Webinar

The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (TSS) and the Operational Services Division (OSD) hosted a webinar that explained how to utilize two new Master Templates to acquire IT Services and Software as a Service (SaaS) via Statewide Contract, on November 15, 2023.

Andrew Cheng, Contract Manager and Special Counsel (TSS), and Jennifer C. Lyons, Deputy General Counsel (OSD), walked through sections of the RFQ Templates and answered questions such as:

• Where to access the RFQ Master Templates
• Which ITS Statewide Contracts to use for IT Professional Services and SaaS
• How to determine the correct solicitation duration
• Datatype considerations (regulated and unregulated)
• Environmental considerations (Executive Departments Only)
• Small purchasing mandates (Executive Departments Only)
• SDP commitments for large purchases (Executive Departments Only)
• Evaluation criteria and what to look for in bidder proposals
