Public Hearing Notice  Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to 540 CMR 4.00 - Annual Safety and Combined Safety Emissions Inspections

The hearing is held pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, § 2-3 to provide opportunity for public comment on proposed amendments to the following MassDOT/RMV regulations: 540 CMR 4.00, "Annual safety and combined safety and emissions inspection of all motor vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers and converter dollies."

The proposed regulatory action will change the definition of “Class F” mobile inspector licensees in order to permit said licensees to inspect certain noncommercial rental fleet vehicles. The proposed action also makes certain other technical edits and updates.
