Overview   of Public Hearing on the Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2025 and 2030

Capacity: 500 participants

The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) is developing the Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2025 and 2030 that will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide job benefits to Massachusetts residents.  We invite you to join in a set of public hearings to provide feedback on EEA’s proposal for 2025 and 2030, including economy-wide emissions limits, emissions sublimits for specific sectors, goals on natural and working lands, and policies to achieve these emissions limits, sublimits, and goals.

This public hearing will focus on proposals related to Electric Power, Transportation, and Non-Energy Sectors

***UPDATE, 4/5/22: This public hearing is CANCELED and will be rescheduled at a later date. If you already registered for this public hearing, you will receive an email with the new date and time once that information is available.

The hearing will be virtual with a presentation, followed by public comment.  The presentation will be recorded in multiple languages and posted on www.mass.gov/2030CECP after the meetings.  Written feedback on the proposal is accepted at gwsa@mass.gov until April 30, 2022.

Information to join the meetings by Zoom and phone will also be posted here 2 days before each hearing.

Accommodations: Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge to those who request them and subject to availability. Requests must be sent as soon as possible, no later than 3 days before the meeting. Services include documents in alternative formats, translated documents, assistive listening devices, and interpreters (including American Sign Language).
