Overview   of Rehabilitation of the Historic Landscape at Lowell Memorial Park

At this public meeting, DCR will present, and obtain public input on, 30% design plans for the rehabilitation of the historic Olmsted Brothers landscape of Lowell Memorial Park, a National Historic Landmark.  The design is funded by DCR and the City of Cambridge Community Preservation Act Committee, through DCR’s Partnership Matching Funds program, and has benefitted from technical support and advocacy provided by the Cambridge Plant & Garden Club.

The presentation made will be viewable after the public meeting on DCR’s website at

The public will be invited to submit comments after the meeting, with a deadline for receipt by DCR of Friday, November 21, 2019. Comments may be submitted online at  https://www.mass.gov/forms/dcr-public-comments or by writing to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Public Outreach, 251 Causeway Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02114. Please note that public comments submitted to DCR may be posted on the DCR website in their entirety, and no information, including personal information, will be redacted.
