SRC Business and Employment Opportunity (BEO) Committee 4-13-23 Agenda

1. Introductions and announcements (as needed)
   • Agenda time of 2 hr is a max time.  For the April meeting we have 60 minutes slated
2. Approve February 2022 minutes (listed below)
3. Update: Content review SRC E-brochure and Flyer
   • In addition to future SRC recruitment, who should this info target?
   • Process and lead time needed to adapt content to various formats (e-mail, twitter/linkedin posts, printed trifold brochure, etc)
4. State Plan Recommendations (all recommendations to SRC Exec Comm by May 4, 2023)

NOTE: BEO and the SRC make recommendations – the best recommendations align with perceived needs by MRC and are supported by good awareness/information by the SRC.

• Outreach and Trainings for MA employers in work incentives
• Need areas from MRC Consumers surveyed
• PWD coming out of incarceration – what can be done to improve access?
• RFR for business consultants re: self-employment
• Priority areas “10 critical areas to promote CIE” Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) | U.S. Department of Labor (dol.gov)
