SRC Business and Employment Opportunity (BEO) Committee Meeting

1. Acceptance of October Meeting Minutes
2. BEO Recommendations:
   1. The Business Employment and Opportunity (BEO) Committee will work with MassAbility to make available instructional materials relevant to MBY participants by becoming certified holders of the Disability Employment Tax Credit (DETC). The Committee will advise MassAbility on strategies for marketing the DETC to participants, vendors and employers.
      1. Review of the MBY-branded DETC flyer for use by Vendors and other community partners to explain the certification purpose and process.
      2. Discussion of East Cambridge Business Association (ECBA) member presentation to occur in January, 2026.
   2. The Business Employment and Opportunity (BEO) Committee will advise MassAbility on additional efforts to engage additional employers to support hiring people with disabilities in the commonwealth.
      1. A representative from MBY will also be present at the ECBA member meeting to introduce himself and the role MBY plays in partnering with employers to meet their workforce challenges.
