Overview of Wachusett Watershed Guided Hike: Watershed Ranger Snowshoe Hike
Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 8, Intersection of Cross Street and Route 70, Boylston. About 2.5 miles round trip.
Watershed Rangers will lead the program to explore the wooded winter wonderland on easy to moderate terrain, about 2.5 miles. Bring your own snowshoes and dress for the weather. If there is little to no snow, it will be a hike instead so wear sturdy boots. All ages welcome.
Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.
Hikes will be a slow pace and last about 2 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
