Chapter 40, Section 36C: Police; training in suicide detection, intervention and prevention required as a condition of an officer's promotion is available on the MPTC Acadis Training Portal.

Successful completion of this training fulfills the statutory requirement for promotion.

Suicide Prevention Online

Completion of a refresher seminar in suicide prevention shall be a condition of promotion for all police officers affected by the provisions of this Act.

This course is also open to anyone with an Acadis Portal User Account.
