Important note on terminology changes

Please note that the new Background Record Check requirements and regulation changes effective October 1, 2018 included changes to BRC terminology, as follows:

  1. Reviewers are now referred to as “BRC Program Administrators
  2. Unsupervised contact with children is now referred to as “Unsupervised Access to Children
  3. Applicants are now referred to as “Candidates
  4. Table of CORI Offenses are now referred to as “Table of Disqualifying Offenses
