What you need
- You will need to first register by completing the Breath Test Operator Registration online form. Please then submit the form to the Office of Alcohol Testing.
- Dress Code: Department Uniform or Business casual.
- Certification training is one eight-hour day.
- Registered officers will receive a confirmation email.
PLEASE NOTE: Class demand is high, and classes fill quickly - open seats today may not be open tomorrow. Allow 2-3 weeks after completing a class to have your status updated.
*For MSP personnel (New or existing), your BATS ID# is “SP” and then your 4-digit MSP ID number.
*For non-MSP personnel, contact your OIC for your BATS ID#; if you are a NEW BTO, enter the last 4 digits of your SSN
