What you need

To cancel an IRP registration, you must complete the IRP Affidavit for Cancellation of Registration.

Fees

There is no fee to cancel an IRP registration.

How to cancel

In person +

Complete the IRP Affidavit for Cancellation of Registration and bring it to the Milford, Springfield or Wilmington RMV Service Center along with the plates and CAB Card.

By mail +

Complete the IRP Affidavit for Cancellation of Registration and mail the affidavit, plates, and CAB card to:
