Cancelled road tests
Road tests will be cancelled if the Governor declares a state of emergency for the entire state or for the region where your road test will take place. If your road test is cancelled, an alert will be posted online. Cancellation messages will also be on the RMV phone line.
Your road test may also be cancelled due to public school cancellations or delays at the discretion of the RMV. Your road test examiner may also cancel your test due to safety or scheduling concerns.
You may reschedule your road test at no cost if it was cancelled due to weather.
