The Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL), through its boards and offices, licenses and regulates more than 500,000 individuals, businesses, and schools to engage in over 100 trades and professions in Massachusetts.

Check an Occupational Board License

For the Real Estate Brokers & Salespersons or the Plumber & Gas Fitters boards, you must use the eLIPSE platform. For instructions on managing your licenses and permits in the eLIPSE platform, view the DOL eLIPSE How-to-Guides page.

All other applicants must complete an application on the Board’s ePlace platform.
