Get your verification status
After you submit your documents, you’ll be notified of your identity verification status:
- "Identity verified” means that you have completed the identity verification process and proven that you are who you claim to be.
- “We are unable to verify your identity” means your identity isn’t verified, but you can choose an action on the MyMassGov page to continue. If MyMassGov can’t verify you, that will not stop you from using state services or benefits programs. You can reach out to the agency responsible for the service directly.
