Features

eFax (electronic fax) eliminates the need for standalone fax machines and phone lines, utilizing the Commonwealth O365 environment to send and receive faxes.

This service enables you to send or receive a fax from your email using your existing (or new) fax phone number.

How to request

Please note: Internal agency IT Liaison (ITL) approval is required in order for EOTSS to process this request.

Fulfillment: 80% within 14 business days

Customer

EOTSS

  • Responsible for assigning eFax number.
  • Responsible for sending required eFax information to the vendor.
  • Responsible for coordinating testing of the eFax service with the customer once it’s configured.

Vendor

  • Responsible for providing availability to EOTSS.
  • Responsible for routing eFax information to the fax server once sent by EOTSS.
  • Time to complete is dependent on vendor availability and responsiveness.
