EOTSS provides end-users and Commonwealth agencies a comprehensive selection of end user hardware, along with management and support services, enabling the effective management of hardware assets and inventory to control cost and comply with audits and State and Federal regulations.

Components of this service include:

  • Procure, receive, barcode and scan End-User Computing hardware into the ServiceNow Asset Management system
  • Securely store End-User Computing hardware in an EOTSS inventory stockroom
  • Monitor, manage and maintain the stock levels of EOTSS owned End-User Computing hardware, including procurement of additional hardware as inventories reach their restocking level
  • Distribute End-User Computing hardware from the TSS warehouse directly to end users/agencies or to various stockrooms (as needed)
  • Provide Lifecycle management for End-User Computing hardware
  • Manage End-User Computer hardware vendors
  • Provide customer reports when requested

Additionally, EOTSS coordinates the removal and disposal of IT equipment and the destruction of hard drives/memory belonging to EOTSS and its supported agencies.  The following services are provided:

  • Completion of Commonwealth/OSD required surplus forms
  • Pickup and removal of decommissioned assets
  • Hard drive destruction/shredding
  • Certificate of Disposal (COD) as needed
  • Disposition of the asset in the ServiceNow Asset Management system

Hardware Asset & Inventory Management services are included with all standard end user computing hardware managed by EOTSS.
