MassVoice is a secure private-cloud Unified Communications service tailored exclusively to Massachusetts state and local government clients. 

New site install: 
The MassVoice team will design and implement our standard voice environment, tailored to your needs where able. The team will map out the required IP space and perform the necessary rule changes and routing, and advise you if any physical hardware or equipment is required to implement the design. You as the customer will procure the equipment directly from the vendor.

Site move:
The MassVoice team will transfer a customer's MassVoice service to a different physical location. EOTSS will map out the required IP space and perform the necessary rule changes and routing, and advise you if any physical hardware or equipment is required to implement the design. You as the customer will procure the equipment directly from the vendor.

Site Decommission:
The MassVoice team will disconnect your MassVoice service at your request. EOTSS will perform the necessary rule changes and routing.

Please note: Internal agency IT Liaison (ITL) approval is required in order for EOTSS to process this request.

Fulfillment: 

New or Move Site: 80% within timeframe determined by EOTSS following intake

Remove Site: Within the timeframe identified by the customer. Please note the timeframe requirements must be  communicated to EOTSS 14 days in advance.

Customer

  • Responsible for adhering to the EOTSS Standard Rules of Engagement.
  • Based on EOTSS requirement analysis, this service may be dependent on the fulfillment of additional services within the Service Catalog before it can be closed.
    • Responsible for opening the service requests as recommended by EOTSS
  • Responsible for procuring physical hardware or equipment from the vendor if advised by EOTSS.
  • Responsible for actively working and communicating with EOTSS on the service request, e.g. physical hardware timelines, additional service request submission, etc. 

EOTSS

  • Once all requirements are collected/finalized during intake, EOTSS will determine the appropriate SLE for the request and communicate to the customer. 
  • Based on customer requirements, determine if additional services from the EOTSS Service Catalog must be fulfilled before this service request can be closed.
    • Responsible for communicating additional service requirements to customers
  • New Site: Responsible for the following:
    • Design and implement standard voice environment. 
    • Map out the required IP space and perform the necessary rule changes and routing.
    • Advise the customer of any physical hardware or equipment that may be required to implement the design. 
  • Move Site: Responsible for the following:
    • Transferring the customer's MassVoice service to a different physical location. 
    • Map out the required IP space and perform the necessary rule changes and routing.
    • Advise the customer of any physical hardware or equipment that may be required to implement the design. 
  • Remove Site: Responsible for the following:
    • Disconnect the customer’s MassVoice service at their request.
    • Perform the necessary rule changes and routing.

Vendor

  • Responsible for working with the customer on procuring physical hardware or equipment from the vendor if advised by EOTSS.
  • This service will be dependent on vendor availability and timeline if procurement of physical hardware or equipment is required.
