What you need   for Request a Pre-filing Consultation

For certain project types and large projects in particular, contact us early in the planning process to discuss and proactively address potential state-listed species concerns. During the consultation, we will provide you with information on potential state-listed species concerns and guidance on potential MESA permitting pathways. Collectively, this approach supports proactive planning and results in a more efficient, streamlined review process.

In order to consult with a review biologist before officially filing submit the following:

  • a project description;
  • conceptual site plans;
  • map showing the location of the property; and
  • any other pertinent information regarding the proposed project. 

This can be done in conjunction with the Information Request process.

Mail the information needed for a consultation to the attention of Regulatory Review and request a response.
