The Details

What you need

  • The Planning Vendor is hired by the community with an MVP Planning 2.0 grant to support them throughout the process with project management, facilitation, and equity and climate content expertise. Prospective Planning Vendors are required to fill out a form with a series of questions regarding your qualifications, and these responses will be added to a list of interested Planning Vendors that will be available to the FY26 MVP 2.0 round of communities.
  • This list will be available as a resource to communities in hiring their Planning Vendor, but communities are free to procure a Planning Vendor on or off the list.  If your company has multiple folks interested in being Planning Vendors, we encourage each individual to fill out a separate form. The list will be organized by individual, not company.
  • Communities will still follow their normal procurement processes to hire a Planning Vendor and will utilize the Planning Vendor qualifications for MVP 2.0 to assess applicants. Prospective Planning Vendors are encouraged to consult these qualifications to understand if they would be a good fit for the role before submitting their qualifications form.
  • Prospective Planning Vendors are required to watch the MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor Orientation.

How to sign up

  1. Review the MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor qualifications.
  2. Watch the MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor Orientation.
  3. Fill out and submit the MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor Orientation Survey.
  4. Once the above steps are completed, your information will be added to the MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor Resource List.
