Anne Diemand Bucci and Tessa White-Diemand

One of the many women farmers in Massachusetts who have contributed to the agricultural industry as we celebrate the "International Year of the Woman Farmer" by the United Nations.
Anne Diemand Bucci and Tessa White-Diemand

Anne Diemand Bucci and her daughter, Tessa White-Diemand are natives of Wendell in Western Massachusetts, where they run Diemand Farm, and are a shining example of multigenerational farming at its best and how farming strengthens the bonds of their family.

Born and raised on the family farm, Anne has spent her life taking great pride in providing high quality local food for the region, working as a team with her staff and always learning and implementing healthy and sustainable practices for the farm. Following in her mother's footsteps, Tessa finds tremendous fulfillment and meaningfulness in be able to contribute and make a lasting positive impact on the family farm and their community.

As women farmers, they wear many hats and perform the countless tasks and jobs that it takes to care for their animals, the land, and the people that help them run their farm that's been in their family for 90 years!
