Compass Medical closed its physician group practice locations on May 30, 2023.

If you are a patient at a Compass Medical office, there are resources available for you to access your medical records, seek new care, or to continue your care with your primary provider.

If you have an emergent need for prescription refills or test results, call the Compass phone line at (508) 350-2000.

Please note that the Department of Public Health does not have access to your medical information.

Find immediate care in southeastern Massachusetts

If you are experiencing a health care emergency, dial 911. 

If you are in need of an immediate bridge prescription for Buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex) and/or linkage to care due to the closure of Compass Medical, call the free MA Addiction Warmline at (617) 414-4175 for an immediate prescription and referral to ongoing care.

  • You will be receiving additional information from your plan about accessing care until you are assigned a new PCP.   • Notice to pharmacies allowing for 30 day supply of medication (PDF) | (DOCX)
  • To assist patients of Compass Medical, P.C. that do not have remaining refills on their prescriptions, pharmacists may provide up to a 30-day supply of Schedule VI medications that do not require reporting to the PMP (i.e., federally controlled substances and gabapentin cannot be provided) to allow for patients to make alternate care arrangements.
