DMF Commercial, Dealer, and Special Permit lookup

You can use the dashboard below to look up current seafood and bait dealer permits, fisher permits, and shellfish propagation permits.

The dashboards provide current and previous year permit information, including, but not limited to, name, permit number, and city for:

• Primary buyers that are seafood or bait dealers permitted to purchase marine species directly from fishermen
• Seafood dealers that are permitted to engage in the wholesale or retail trade of raw fish, shellfish or crustaceans
• Bait dealers that are permitted to take and sell marine bait
• Retail Boat dealers that are permitted to sell certain seafood they caught directly to consumers from their boat
• Commercial Permits that are permitted to commercially fish in or land in Massachusetts
• Commercial vessel information
• Special Permits that are permitted for shellfish propagation

Instructions

1. Use the filters on the right side of the dashboard to filter values in the table.
2. Click a row in the table to view more information on a particular permit holder.
3. Click on a column header to sort the table.
4. Use the Page Navigation buttons to move between different dashboard pages. *Note the Permit Year selection is the same across all pages.
