English Language Training for Integration (ELT-I)

The English Language Training for Integration (ELT-I) provides English language instruction, with a focus on integration and day-to-day life.

The ELT-I program is available to refugees who are not participating in RES (Refugee Employment Services), but who require improved English proficiency to attain the ability to communicate in English in order become more self-sufficient and integrated into the community. ORI’s sub-grantees provide English classes at the beginner and intermediate levels, as well as literacy classes when needed. Additionally, life workshop topics such as financial literacy, civics, and familiarity with community resources and institutions provide a topic structure for English language classes and conversation building.
