Information for Online Transactions

1. How to create or link an on-line account:

2. Authorization Codes:  

If you have not linked your license to your online account, you will need an authorization code which can be requested online using a desktop browser. 

Do not use Internet Explorer or a mobile device: Mass.gov Licensing and Permitting Portal 

3. Record Identification Code FormatSelect the format for your license type as follows: 

Example:    1234-MT-MT 
Individual Licenses:         your numeric license number-MT-MT
Solo Establishments Licenses:        your numeric license number-MT-MF
Multi-Establishments Licenses: your numeric license number-MT-MM 

 

Renewal of Individual or Establishment License

Current or lapsed less than one year 

Renewal notifications are mailed 60 days prior to your expiration date. In the event that you do not receive a renewal notification, the renewal can still be completed online on the ePlace portal. Your authorization code can be retrieved here.

Lapsed for more than FIVE years 

Email massagetherapy@mass.gov with your license number for more information.  

Address Changes

Individual licenses – Complete the address change online during the renewal process 

Establishment licenses – This license is tied to the BUSINESS LOCATION.  You must apply for a new establishment license online
