Highlights, Resources, and Reports

This page contains a selection of OBHPP publications as well as highlights of the office's work

The Office of Behavioral Health Promotion and Prevention regularly produces reports, findings, resources, and other materials. You will find them organized categorically on this page.

Environmental Scan

During its first year in operations, OBHPP worked with DMA Health Strategies Inc. to lead a statewide assessment to explore current behavioral health promotion and prevention initiatives. This environmental scan used a three-pronged approach to identify gaps across activities and uncovered opportunities for collaboration:

  1. A landscape scan
  2. A statewide request for information, and
  3. A series of community listening sessions

Legislative Report

This report outlines the accomplishments of OBHPP in its inaugural year of operation to build critical infrastructure, engage with key partners and community stakeholders across the Commonwealth, and embed health equity throughout all Office activities. It concludes by describing forward-looking priorities for advancing state-wide behavioral health promotion and prevention initiatives in FY26.
