COVID-19 Daily Dashboard

The Commonwealth tracks and reports cumulative data on COVID-19 cases and deaths in nursing homes and rest homes, referred to as Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities, in the Daily Dashboard. Specific data on LTC Facilities on the dashboard can be found under “COVID-19 Cases in Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities”

COVID-19 Weekly Public Health Report

The Weekly COVID-19 Public Health Report includes enhanced, more granular information updated on a weekly, or biweekly basis, including:

  • COVID-19 Cases and Facility-Reported Deaths in Long-Term Care Facilities
  • Nursing Home and Rest Home Staff Surveillance Testing Results
  • CMS Infection Control Surveys Conducted at Nursing Homes
  • COVID-19 Cases in Assisted Living Residences
  • PPE Distribution by Recipient Type and Geography

Additional COVID-19 Data

Additional COVID-19 data is posted as it becomes available pursuant to Chapter 93 of the Acts of 2020. Daily reports feature data from the previous day. The Chapter 93 Elder Facilities Daily Report (self-reported data) contains resident and staff cases and deaths in nursing homes, rest homes and assisted living residences.

CMS COVID-19 Nursing Home Data

Nursing homes are required to report data to the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) system COVID-19 Long-Term Care Facility Module on resident impact, facility capacity, staff and personnel, supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE), and ventilator capacity.
